I spent my youth, gathered knowledge, experienced the country’s beauties and started a family in Slovenia. I was present at the time the sovereign state of Slovenia was born and played a part therein. As a young country it had economic difficulties resulting from radical changes in the social, political and economic system and which also stemmed from developments in the neighbouring countries.

After the independence, a creative path for able and hardworking people has opened. New production units have been established and the number of small private companies, educational institutions and civil organisations increased. The advantages of Slovenia are in its size, natural beauties and position in the middle of Europe.

Regrettably, in the past the managers of the country and its assets failed to achieve the ambitions of the citizens and did not meet the set objectives. A clear development strategy, direction and vision and legislative reforms are required; the policy of division has to be renounced. Nevertheless, working and creating in beautiful Slovenia in the midst of my growing family makes me very happy.
