When I received your message, my first thought was "why me", but then I reconsidered it and became aware that I had brought something into this country that some people were not even capable of doing or had not even the wish to help people in distress. This made me realise that Slovenia is also my country, because I live here, have my family here, work here, and, what is most important, I do what I really like and enjoy doing. As you already know, I did some good things for our country and I did it for my pleasure and for the pleasure of people who needed help, and not to become famous.  There were negative rumours spread about my work but they did not strike me, because those who were most critical had not done any good work themselves. I myself am a person who does not think only of himself; I am willing to help and to always do good things, because I am aware that if someone lives a good life this means that there is also someone in the world who would do everything to have such a good life. And we are here to help these people live a better and more beautiful life, and if we join forces, we can succeed in providing this life and can help numerous people.  I wish there were more people in Slovenia who would help the socially disadvantaged, because even just a friendly look and a smile can make a change, not to mention charity work. Since I started living and working in Slovenia, I have only faced positive things: my family, my job, the hard-working character of the Slovenians and the eagerly awaited independence of the Republic of Slovenia. Once you create a family and you feel good in a country, you simply enjoy its beauties and this is why I have stayed. What I appreciate in this country is the positive character of the Slovenians. Together they are capable of proving anything and if they join forces they can achieve important goals for their freedom and the entire nation.

To someone who gets everything, it does not mean much, while to someone who only gets little, it means a lot!
