Wine tasting event at the Embassy of Slovenia
The International Club of DC with the cooperation of the Embassy of Slovenia cordially requests the pleasure of your company for an enchanting evening of culture, art, music, cuisine, beer and wine from Slovenia, the country celebrating 25 years of independence. This is a wonderful opportunity to discover Slovenia through all your senses while meeting diplomats and ICDC members!
The evening will start with a classical music performance by London-based Slovenian flautist, who is also a first-prize winner of the International Flute Competition in Picardie, France. His performance will be followed by presentation by acclaimed sommelier, Andreja Košir Gažovič, who will introduce a selection of fine Slovenian wines, awarded at the 2016 Finger Lakes International Wine Competition in New York. The wines will be matched with exquisite Slovenian food from different regions of the country.
