On Tuesday, 13nd October 2015, the Centre of Biotech and Tourism, GRM Novo Mesto, Slovenia will be visited by two important guests – the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Mr. Borut Pahor, and the first democratically elected member of the presidency, Mr. Ivan Oman

First, they will discuss the formation of Slovenian state and the upcoming 25th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Slovenia with the students, and then the president will unveil a memorial plaque honouring a meeting of the DEMOS leaders, which took place at the school winery on 29th June 1990, and where the method of Slovenia's independence process and the involvement of the parliamentary parties in the independence project was discussed.
