This new, modern exhibition will familiarise visitors with the creation of the independent Slovenian state. Through the introduction of the socialist Yugoslavia and the Yugoslav People's Army, visitors will learn about the process of democratisation and the independence of Slovenia. The aggression of the Yugoslav army that followed the declaration of the independent Slovenian state and the firm resistance of the Slovenian Armed Forces and the inhabitants are presented using big show-pieces from the period, weapons, films, and exhibition boards.
