A grand opening ceremony of the Tacen Park of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, 1st June 2016, at 11 am at the Ljubljana Police Academy.

The Tacen Park of Remembrance is dedicated to those police members who lost their lives in the 1991 war for Slovenia and police officers who died on duty in the independent state of Slovenia.

The event is the first in a row of commemorations that will take place this June to mark the 25th anniversary of the Slovenian Police Forces.
