I perceive Slovenia as a country whose population is highly educated. There is compulsory schooling, education is free, which is particularly welcome as regards university studies; I think we receive a very good education, and then we face the problem of finding employment. I think the Government should do more in this direction. Brain drain is on the increase, when the smart ones decide that it makes more sense to work for better pay abroad. And this is a shame: the State provides for our education and then we want to leave it. And unemployment too is nothing but a cost for the State. The State also gets nothing back from those people that were granted education free of charge.
