Slovenian gastronomy is complemented with high-quality wines and other alcoholic beverages. Primorska, Posavje and Podravje are the three wine-producing regions of Slovenia, each offering a wide range of outstanding wines. 

Typical, native wines deserve special mention: šipon, ranina, cviček, teran, grganja, klarnica, rebula and zelen.
